European Sexuality Resource Center
The European Sexuality Resource Center strives to make information available on all subjects related to sexuality. It is a collaborative partnership involving a wide range of European information and educational organizations, interest and advocacy groups, and academic and research institutions.

Taboo
Sexuality is an important topic in society today but one that is still surrounded by taboos. It is often difficult to find reliable, objective information on subjects like sexual health issues, birth control, abortion, AIDS prevention, prostitution, genital mutilation, sterilization, reproductive rights, and gay and lesbian rights. To address the need for information, Aletta has established the European Sexuality Resource Center.Human rights
The European Sexuality Resource Center assumes the following as its guiding principle: sexual rights are human rights. All people – be they women or men; gay, lesbian, straight or bisexual; transvestite or transgender – have the right to be free and safe in the way they experience their bodies and express their sexualities. Knowledge and information are vital to making this assertion a reality.Sharing information
The European Sexuality Resource Center shares information through its European network of organizations to promote sexual health, sexual rights and sexual well-being throughout Europe. You can read more about the European Sexuality Resource Center on the website.www.europeansexuality.org/
