Know How Conference
Women’s information specialists come together once every four years at the Know How Conference. In 1998, Aletta organized the first “Know How Conference on Women’s Information” in Amsterdam. Three hundred information specialists from 83 countries took part in the conference and shared their knowledge and expertise. The “Mapping the World of Women’s Information Services” database is a direct result of this conference.More about Mapping the World
Know How Conference 2010
Since 1998, a Know How Conference has been organized somewhere in the world every four years. In 2002, the Know How Conference was in Kampala, Uganda and in 2006, in Mexico City. The Know How listserv is a discussion forum that works via e-mail exchanges and provides a way for you to be in touch with other women’s information specialists around the world.
