Aletta has an academic focus in the thematic area of women’s history.
Research
Aletta established the Wilhelmina Drucker Chair at the University of Amsterdam in 2009. This chair is held by Mieke Aerts, one of the professor affiliated with Aletta; the chair is focused on the political history of gender in the Netherlands. Francisca de Haan, professor at the Central European University in Budapest, also conducts research in the field of women’s history.More about Aletta’s researchers
