Women who want to stand up for their rights and to improve their position in society need access to information. That is why Aletta collects as much information as possible about women’s rights, empowerment, and cultural heritage and shares this information with women all over the world.For more information

Aletta collects, preserves and shares the cultural heritage of the women’s movement. By recording women’s history from the past and the present, we are adding new pages to the canon of Dutch history.For more information
Academic study
Aletta encourages and advances academic research about women and gender and opens its archives and collections up to scholars and researchers. We pay special attention to the areas of sexuality, ethnicity and history.For more information
